LAFAYETTE HYP MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT
Minimum Member Age: Twenty-one (21) to forty-one (41) years of age.
Length of Commitment: One (1) year
Annual Dues: HYP Members are each required to make a financial contribution to HYP. Membership dues are $75 annually. Members who would like to pay their dues through sweat equity may do so by volunteering at an official Habitat or Lafayette HYP event. The volunteer hours must be approved before hand by the Membership Chair.
Expectations of Members:
- Understand and be committed to the mission of HYP.
- Attend and participate in an average of half of scheduled HYP and/or affiliate events, including meetings, fundraisers, builds, and social and/or networking events. Members are expected to contribute twenty (20) hours of service through HYP annually.
- Understand and comply with the policies and procedures of HYP and Habitat.
- Be an ambassador and help communicate and promote HYP’s mission and programs to potential members, volunteers, donors, and the community.
