In accordance with Governor John Bel Edwards’ Stay At Home order to stop the spread of COVID-19 and in compliance with recommendations from the CDC, Lafayette Habitat for Humanity’s program offices, construction sites and the ReStore are closed to the public until further notice. Although our offices are closed, staff members continue to work from home and we are committed to assisting those we serve throughout this time. We are monitoring the situation closely and look forward to returning in a manner that is safe for everyone.
To all current Lafayette Habitat homeowners, we realize this climate of uncertainty has raised concerns for many families throughout the area and we encourage you to please contact us regarding any concerns you and your family may have. As we have previously communicated, Lafayette Habitat will waive all late fees for April and May 2020, and we’re committed to working with you throughout this difficult time. For now, please alert Beth Reeves, 337-315-7492, as soon as possible if you experience any disruptions in income that affect your ability to make your monthly mortgage payment.
Our primary concern continues to be the health and safety of our homeowners, our staff and our community and we encourage all of you to adhere to the guidelines being issued by the CDC and our local government. If you have any other questions, please contact our office at 337-261-5041 or visit the staff directory to reach a specific staff member.
